Having been born in India and living there for the better part of my life, I have seen many Sadhus. Predominantly in temple towns. They have their own ways of life. For the most part, they are kind, peaceful and honourable folks who aim to achieve liberation through spiritual practices. If you ever come across a genuine Sadhu, you'll find them exuding the kind of serenity and peace you can feel nowhere else.
I find their vermillion smeared foreheads, their spiritual beads, their unshaven beards and their aura in general, so full of character that I really had to paint it to experience it!!!
Hope this painting brings peace to your home.
This painting is done on a studio wrapped canvas and is ready to hang.
Frame is not required. If however, you'd prefer a more oranate yet modern look, go for a gold floater frame. This piece does not come with the frame.
