Femme de Force in French stands for Woman of Strength.
 
People generally see women as beautiful, pretty, sexy, hot, fat, thin, tall, short. In many cultures, women are also expected to be pure, virtuous, graceful, obedient, meek (???)!!
 
Through my art, I would like to portray women for who they really are. Brave. Strong. Resilient. Tough. Women have conquered the depths of oceans and the heights of the skies and beyond. 
 
May the blues in this painting remind you of the skies and the seas that you can conquer and the oranges of the courage you possess.
