I painted this on an 18" x 24" gallery wrapped canvas, from a reference photo I took while visiting the Chicago Arboretum during the summer of 2017. It was a warm breezy day in Chicago and these beautiful pink magnolias were screaming for attention in their own delicate, softspoken ways.
